Lauren and Audrey were at it again. I don't know why, but sometimes those two just don't get along. At some point during this particular skirmish, Audrey felt incapable of exacting her revenge. She came into the kitchen where Ella and I were standing and announced, "Ella, I want you to kick La-wen in da face."

"Audrey!" I scolded her, "Why would you say something like that? We don't hurt each other." She didn't even look at me.

"Ella, " she said again, "I WANT you to KICK La-wen in DA FACE." Ella and I looked at each other in silence, and then Audrey burst into tears. "Ella!" she sobbed, "I know you can do it! I KNOW you can."

She's so cute when she's angry.
